Oklahoma City Thunder player Jalen Williams had to leave Wednesday’s game against the Golden State Warriors after getting injured in the eye just before halftime. The injury happened when Jonathan Kuminga dunked over him with 39 seconds left in the first half. Williams was seen grabbing his eye in pain and stayed on the floor for a couple of minutes before limping off with help to the locker room. He was seen with an ice pack on his eye during the break.

Thunder coach Mark Daigneault didn’t have any more information on Williams’ condition after the game, saying, “I have no update on it, and I’ll just leave it at that for now.”

Before the injury, Williams played 16 minutes, scoring 13 points, with 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals. His performance helped the Thunder lead 62-50 at halftime. Williams has been a key player for the team, averaging 22.1 points per game, along with leading in rebounds (6.5) and steals (2.2).
